Setup and onboarding
Wati
Sign-up is fast (< 5 min). Number provisioning takes 30 minutes to a few hours. The dashboard is polished. Wati's onboarding wizard is genuinely good — probably best-in-class globally.
Sendvise
Same flow, but we still hand-hold every customer through the first hour via WhatsApp. Some find it overkill, some love it. Number provisioning is typically 10 minutes. The dashboard is functional but not as flashy as Wati's yet.
Verdict: Wati edges out on raw onboarding polish. Sendvise wins on hand-holding.
Pricing
Wati's growth plan starts at $39/month (~₹3,300). Sendvise's Growth is ₹999/month, ~70% lower for comparable features. Both charge Meta conversation fees on top.
Wati doesn't have a free tier. Sendvise does (Starter, free forever for 1,000 service conversations / 1,000 broadcast contacts). For Indian SMBs starting out, that's a meaningful gap.
Verdict: Sendvise wins on price for Indian businesses. Wati is priced for global mid-market.

Wati support is global, English-only, response times 4–8 hours typically. Their docs are excellent.

Verdict: Wati's docs win. Sendvise's human support wins, especially for non-English-first teams.
